ok, Im having a peculiar problem with sendmail. I have an exact copy of recent configuration, but it doesnt work. I am having a bit of a brain fart as to why it is not working.

Sendmail will recieve mail for my domain and relay mail to users in my domain from users ouside (laptop via internet) but it will not relay to Jondoe@hotmail.com, or any other domain such as this. Error 550 keeps coming up. All i want to do is provide relaying to ANY address from my domain and only from my domain. I am planning to do authentication in the future, but for now, i need to have this back up and working.

Please list every file that needs to be touched to do this and i will be eternally grateful!... TIA

hmmm, unless you do authentification this won't work.

sendmail accepts relaying based on IP, not adresses

if I'm wrong and it does, it would be based on the access file in /etc/mail
