"Send to" for KDE

Hi
in Windows there is a right-button option "send to/ mail recipient" . I looked in Kde but found nothing like this. There is copy to location but no mail client just folders.

Is there a way to enable such a thing in kde?

Thanks .

you mean in konqueror file manager ?
it's not in the right click context menu. It's in the 'File' menu -> send file ...

I can only guess cause I don't have Thunderbird installed. In kde control center under 'kde-components' there is an option 'choose components'. The first one in the list is 'choose your preferred e-mail program' and on the right side it says 'k-mail as standard application' and 'use other application'. Try to enter the path to thunderbird there and see if that works.

The name of the menu options can differ as I have german kde and freely translated ...

In system settings of kde you should find a "default application" section.
Here is where you define the default application and the default email client
