segmentation fault when using cpulimit

Hi all,

i recently installed cpulimit-1.1 for benchmarking some nodes in a cluster. What i try to do with this tool is to limit the usage of cpu to specific applications. It compiles well but when trying to run i get this message: "segmentation fault" so nothing happens. Could you provide me some help on this?

Can you survive if the limit is (full) physical CPU boundaries - i.e 1 of 4 CPUs, or 2 of 4 ... ???
If so, and you have a recent kernel, have a look at containers/cgroups. Used to be cpusets - works fine if that is what you need; see the doco in the source tree. Can't do less than a full (say 70%) of an engine.
