Segfault in Samba after usermap changes

I recently upgraded a Samba file/print server from 3.0.22 to 3.0.23c. The system is Debian Sarge with the latest debs from samba.org. The security setting is ADS. It turned out to be more involved than simply running apt-get upgrade, but I got it working. I then changed the username mapping file from root = DOMAIN\Administrator to root = @"DOMAIN\Domain Admins". After this, there is no network connectivity to the shares, but a lot of segfault messages are generated. Do the messages below mean anything to anyone? Thanks in advance.
