seeking a program to organise my movies

Thought I might ask people what programs they are using to sort out movies (Im not sure whats available but surely there has to be multiple options out there)
I have like 200G of movies and would like some form of program to sort them out something similiar to itunes, banshee, rhythm box, songbird but for movies
would like to be able to catagorise them into say genre series year main actors stuff like that just to help when looking for certain movies instead of having to always remember the title of the movie as currently they all just sitting in a folder on my hard drive
Im using linux mint 13 cinamon

XBMC is the sleekest, coolest media management console I've ever seen. Good call.
