Second IDE controller

I have a second IDE controller and have disabled the on board primary IDE. The controller card is DMA 100(the on board is only 33.)
When I try to install Debian it tells me I have no hard disk and asks if I want to install over a network.

How do I get Debian Linux to "see" my hard drive. I've done searches for drivers for my CMD CSA 0649U UDMA IDE card, and have found no results.
