Searching for a specific video editing software

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a specific video editing tool. I have several short videos. I want to cut them all to the same length, show the title in the left corner of each video and in the end I want to connect them all to one big video. I'm using kdenlive for this right now, but this just gets redundant, so I ask you if there is a tool which I can program to do all of this.

Thanks in advance!

sounds relatively simple.
i'm pretty sure ffmpeg can do all of it.

Blender can cut, mod, put together clips, add titles, add sound track to clips, and all kinds of stuff even add 3D objects to tracked clips made in Blender ...

But I am going to download and install kdenlive because @Drakeo said "kdenlive is the best. have fun" and everyone wants to have fun. sboinstall kdenlive 'ing right now!

But I bet I got a be in KDE to use it ... blah ..

Openshot, lives, cinelerra, and others.

For special things I tend to use ffmpeg to extract to frames. A bash script to manipulate the images. And ffmpeg to make it a video again. Extract audio, re-mux it with the video, and done. Compressed video to uncompressed images eats a lot of drive space though. And is otherwise the slow road. But if you're doing the same thing over and over, nothing beats a program. Plus hardware you don't need for other things and some time.

Thumbs up [solved]

Hi Guys,
thank you so much for the answers. I will try out ffmpeg, although I'd like a nice GUI more.

ffmpeg is the right tool, and with a simple (shell) script you can program it to "do all of this".
what's not to like?
