Cool scroll page by page

Hi all,
I have os opensuse. How to scroll page by page when I type command like dir for example, to see the whole contents of the directory. in winxp we type dire /p to scroll page by page

Remember: "more" is less "more" than "less".

Or something like that...

Or you could do Shift+PageUp for more than just the last command
