script won't work

Hey all, I am using red hat 9. I have put a web site up on the computer and have created a form for people to submit, but when they click the submit key it just displays the perl script. If you would like to see it for yourself, go to www.stlukesserviceleague.org and click on student programs and then click on apply now. That will bring you to the form. Then when you click on submit, it will just show you the script without running it. Anyway, this is my first time ever creating script so what am I doing wrong? Thanx you guys always help a ton.

I don't know a thing about html, but. Is the script executable?

chmod +x "scriptname"

yea, it's executble

It worked OK for me. Maybe you got it fixed in the meantime. If not, maybe whether it works or not depends on the viewers browser settings.

You serious??? what did it do when you hit the submit button? I haven't done anything to it yet. Please let me know.

jailbait 07-25-2003 11:08 PM

My apologies. In my first test I did not hit the submit button. I tried it again and when I hit the submit button I got the bug.

Sorry, I did not read your bug description closely.

that is ok...actually i think i have the problem figured out...*fingers crossed*...i'm pretty sure it had something to do with my cgi-bin directory not being properly aliased. Thank you for looking into it for me.
