Script to convert csv 2 xls or odt


Hi

I want to convert near to 20000 csv files to xls or csv. Does anyone know how to do this in a batch proccess?

I foud out something about csv2xls, a perl module, but I don't know how to install all the other modules needed (I don't know anything about perl).

There's a script on CPAN for this.

I don't know about installing the modules on a slackware box though. In Ubuntu there's a package for it (libspreadsheet-writeexcel-perl).
