In attempting to compile scribus 1.0.1 on RH 9.0, I keep running into this error...

checking for libjpeg... -ljpeg
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.2) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

In checking the config.log I see this...

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ljpeg6b

Keep in mind I am an absolute idiot here. I have no clue what is going on. I'm just trying to get this to work. Hence, you're going to really have to Barney this down for me.

this is not an error on that line, it is the next line that gives the error. install Qt-devel-3.something.rpm and re configure it.

OR just install scribus from rpm.
