Screensavers/ Screensaver Software for Linux

From what sites can I download Screensavers for Linux?

The other question is whether there is Open Source software available on the net to make screensavers for Linux? I know there's a lot of shareware available for windows. But I havent seen any for linux.

But GCC is the GNU C Compiler isn't it. Then how can I build a screesaver with GCC? What I meant by OSS for screesavers was a Screesaver Maker like Acme Photo Screesaver Maker.

Is there such software available for linux. There's a lot of pictures that I have that I want to use for making screensavers.

Well, I am not aware of such program for Linux.
Reason I mentioned GCC is that you have to write your screensaver in some programming language ( C prefferably ) and compile it.
Just look at xscreensaver source how to do it.
