Autoscreenrecorder

I wonder if there have been any updates since this was posted?

I'm looking for an equivalent "Autoscreenrecorder" for Linux platform - does anyone know of a simple GUI application?

RecordMyDesktop.

It's in most distros' repos. Note that the GUI frontend is often a separate install.

Great! Thanks for the update.

You might wrap this up by going to the thread tools at the top and marking this one as solved. That will tell others with similar questions that this thread might help them.

Thanks for the note but since it was not I that initiated the thread, I don't have the option in the Tools drop-down to mark it as solved. I did rate it with 5 stars though!
