Question screen resolution w/ Xorg


Hi everybody,

maybe someone can help with the following question. I have just installed a Slack10 running Xorg6.7 on a PIII 800 Mhz with a ATI Rage Fury (32 Mgs memory on board); my monitor is a LG Flatron 775FT.
As default screen resolution I'd like to set the 1152x864 mode (it is one of the choices the utility xorgconfig allows me to set). Unfortunately, Xorg doesn't accept this and jumps directly the 1024x768 pixels mode. I poked here and there on the config file, with no result. I'm sure this is no hardware limit, since Win 98 does the job without pains.
