Screen config on Dell Latitude laptop

Hi Folks, just installed RH 7.2 on a Dell Latitude laptop. It has an ATI Rage Mobility M3 (AGP 2X)

The quality of the display is quite poor and small fonts are not very clear at all.

Can you direct me on

a) how to make the changes to the screen config please?

b) What the optimal screen settings should be.

You'll need AGP GART support and a quick look over at xfree86.org to look for some info on your graphics chip. There's also a web site with info on notebooks and linux. Not sure about the URL... give it a google search.

1) AGP GART support
2) drivers for your grahics chip (make sure to match the XFree versions properly!)
3) play with the screen resolutions
