Question Samsung vm8000 monitor problem

Hi there! It's been days that I'm trying to get Linux Mandrake 8.1 working on my laptop (Samsung vm8000), but during installation, my monitor (xga 14inches tft) was not found, and now the screen just flickers and I can't see anything, do you know where I can find the adequat driver, or do you know how to do? Please help.
Thanks a lot.
