samba woes...


ok...

i have a pentium 200 48mb ram print server called prodigius2... i am trying to connect to it with my other box and print to the printer there...

i have tried playing with samba:swat on the print server and still no dice...
this is what i get when i do a samba fs mount:

mount -t smbfs //prodigius2/homes /mnt/prodigius2
4820: session request to PRODIGIUS2 failed (Not listening for calling name)

thnx for the read and the help!

I don't know about your samba question. Have you got smbd and nmbd running on your printer server?

What I'd like to comment on is your sig: you may wish to check out www.grcsucks.com . some very detailed critiques of GRC's techniques and/or abilities (or lack thereof).
