Samba share stops working after reboot

I have a fresh Fedora Core 3 install with the latest kernel and all updates. I've set up a shared folder with samba and am able to access it on a windows machine. However, if I reboot my FC3 machine the windows box can no longer access the share. I have to open the samba manager....system-config-samba....then the share works. I'm able to close it and all is fine...it only happens when I reboot.

Is this normal? And...is there something I can do to make the share accessable on reboots without having to open up the Samba Server Configuration?

Thanks.
