I have setup a rhel4 server joined to an Active Directory Domain and have used samba to share out printers and a couple of directories. When trying to access the machine as a non Domain Admin user I get the following error
"An extended error has occurred"

Any ideas or help on this is greatly appreciated.

What exactly are you trying to access and as who? Does this user have access granted to such things? Better or more details gets better replies..

I have printers shared and /tmp shared. I am trying to access the server to just view the shares when I get this error but I cannot access the shares directly either. Here is what my temp share looks like

[temp]
path = /tmp
guest ok = yes

Pretty basic stuff and the permissions on /tmp have not been changed. The user I am trying to access this as is just a Domain User with no special permissions. When I try to access this from the same machine as a Domain Admin user it works. I have this same configuration setup on another machine and it is working fine. Only difference is this is on rhel4 and uses samba 3.0.14a and the other machine is rhel3 and samba 3.0.10
