Samba Printing without Login/Credentials
Hey all,
I have my samba server up n running in Ubuntu fine. The windows machines can see it, connect to it, access their files n print as well. Almost exactly what I want it to do.
I need the windows machines to be able to print to the Samba printer without first having the user manually log into the samba fileshare. Right now, if a user has not previosuly logged into the File Share and entered the global share username and password they are unable to print! I would like them to be able always, regardless of whether or not they have been authenticated.
This is important since no tall users share files regularly and Windows does not generate a login prompt when sending a Job to print and so, to the user, the job is just hanging.
Any advice?
