Samba on Slackware 7.1
 
Will samba install on slackware 7.1 and if so, is there any good documentation on this specific setup?

It should come with Slackware 7.1 but if you wanted to use later versions of Samba, probably better to go ahead and upgrade your Slackware install, if your using 7.1 right now. You do realize they're on 10.1 nowadays and 7.1 is almost 5 years old.. ;)

Yeah, its for an old machine. Can I use the latest Samba on 7.1 ?
