I am running Fedora Core 6 on a Dell Latitude D620 laptop. I need to access files on a NetAPP filer. When I try to copy a file from the filer to my laptop, I get the following error:
Error "invalid parameters" while copying smb://server/filename"
I can copy files fine from my XP workstation to my laptop, but not from my netapp device. I can also move files from windows servers to my laptop. The servers and my workstation are all domain members.
The netapp device is on our domain, of which I have domain admin priviledges. The laptop is not a member of the domain. I mount the volume, supply my domain credentials, and I can browse the files fine. I only get this message when attempting to copy or move them from the filer to my linux build.
