Samba config. in Trustix

I've got my server up and running, but I'm seeing folders I commented out. I've used number signs and semi-colons to comment them out, but they're still there, any idea as to what I'm doing wrong?

The folders:

tmp
netlogon
fileshare

The only folder I want shared is Public...

It's the default smb.conf just commented out, right now I'm using semi-colons. Would that be my problem? I've got a little over a week to get this bad-boy running up and smooth to show it off at a LAN Party...

the command testparm will show a dump of your configuration. some things parse comments differently bu i know pound signs will comment out smb.conf lines. you did not say whether your restarted the server after making you configuration changes, you will need to. feel free to post your smb.conf if this cotinues to be an issue.
