I have an existing Samba domain controller for authenticating users and sharing home directory, for a group of Windows 98 workstations.
I am now apply group policies to the windows machines, I have created a config.pol file and planed it in Samba's netlongon directory but none of the policies are implemented by the workstations.
What could be going wrong here?
There is no problem with the netlogon directory as logon scripts are being executed as normal.
In case I have no success with config.pol, is there anyway to apply the policy via the logon script?
