You should really try to post ongoing questions in the original threads that you started, instead of creating a new thread.

Thanks. This one is like double posting, which is against the rules.

in RedHat Linux, the daemon file's path is:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/smb

the parameters maybe "start" or "stop" and "restart"

Hope this helps.

I guess my first reply is just being ignored huh or I'm just invisible? Lets keep this ongoing in the existing thread you started before this one.

sinokonka,

When you see a moderator reply stating that this is a problem that has been double posted or should have been posted in an existing thread, that means you post your responses in the existing threads, instead of replying to it.

Thanks.
