Running Metacity on Arch

Metacity is probably my favorite window manager ever, I installed it off of the community repositories and logged off to see if I could use it but it did not appear as an option, and I'm really not enjoying E17 right now. Is there any hope (even a highly similar window manager would do)?

EDIT: I'm marking this as solved because I've found solace in LXDE, it's rather different but still close enough to what I was looking for.

I don't know about GUI login managers, but if you use startx, you can add metacity to your .xinitrc script.

Also, Metacity doesn't have any way to launch applications, and it doesn't have any panel. Do you already have that covered?
