running chromium without password-store

Hi all,

When I run chromium, I don't want to use the password-store, at all. I'm wondering if there's a way to start chromium without it (it's a child process that automatically starts up with chromium and uses 25MB of ram).

Thanks,
Alex

How To Disable Chrome Password Manager

Note that I have not tried these instructions; I can't verify them.

I hope this helps.

As far as I can tell these options do not exist anymore, this seems to work only for some older version. In the settings there is a privacy section but I have already disabled everything that relates to passwords there. Thanks for trying at least

I still haven't found a solution to this. Maybe it's possible to modify the shell script that launches chromium?

Should I be posting this somewhere else? I tried the Google Chrome Discussion Group but got nothing there either.
