Rtorrent keyboard commands unresponsive when starting rtorrent in detached screen
Hi guys,
I just noticed something in rtorrent 0.8.6 when starting it with screen. If I start rtorrent with `screen rtorrent` everything works as normally, I get to the rtorrent after I type the command and can do anything I want, manipulate torrents, dettach the screen etc. However, I'm making a startup script (to make the story short) that needs to start rtorrent in dettached mode directly (`screen -d -m rtorrent`). For some reason, when rtorrent is started directly as dettached screen some of the keyboard commands do not work, for instance CTRL+Q and CTRL+S. I can reattach and then dettach the app (with CTRL+A+D), but for some reason, the two forementioned crucial keyboard combinations do not work. This is, once again, only if I start rtorrent with `screen -d -m rtorrent`. If I start it with `screen rtorrent` I have no problems. But, as mentioned, I really need to start it in dettached mode. Is this expected behaviour (I see no logic in this, though) or a bug of some kind? I'm running Fedora 12. Thanks in advance. |
I'm having this exact problem, too. I'm running CentOS 5.5.
