I have a problem, I want to sign up for RSS feeds for my Halo 2 games but whenever I click an RSS link (have tried it on multiple websites so it's not Bungie) I get a page with the message "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." at the top and the html for the entire page written out in text. I'm running Mandriva 2005 LE with Firefox 1.0.7, any ideas guys?
Got an extension for it called inforss, it doesn't work by clicking the links but I can just copy and paste the link into a new feed and it works just fine, scrolls across the status bar of my browser.
Clicking on the link will not subscribe you to the feed. If you want to use the feed as a Live Bookmark, use the icon in the bottom right corner of the firefox window. If there is no such icon (because the author of the page did not include the correct tag), copy the url, go in Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > File > New Live Bookmark.
You also can use Thunder bird to read RSS feeds. Just go to, in Thunderbird, edit, account settings, add account, news and blogs and add as many RSS and XML feeds you like.
