you just need the libchm devel files. Google libchm-devel and get the version that matches your installed version of libchm. After getting this, xchm should install no problem.

I have downloaded pychm, I hope it will work
I have just found out (from google), that gnochm is also available for FC4 in the dries repository. Maybe it would be a good idea to set up the dries repo in your yum rpm sources and use yum to install gnochm instead of doing it manually. The package you are trying to install is for FC3.

And reddazz,
I have successfully downloaded and installed pychm as well as gnochm 0.6.
But when I try to start gnochm it say:
Code:
# gnochm
You do not have all of the required Python modules to run gnochm.
Check the gnochm README file for tips on how to fix this.
What follows is the error description highlighting the problematic module.

No module named chm
I followed the instruction in README file and it told me to check the python sys.path command and add a environments variable by using this command:
Code:
# export PYTHONPATH=/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/chm/:$PYTHONPATH.
After I get this command done I was able to import the chm modules inside python console.
But when I start gnochm again it say:
Code:
You do not have all of the required Python modules to run gnochm.
Check the gnochm README file for tips on how to fix this.
What follows is the error description highlighting the problematic module.

cannot import name chm
Being dissapointed, I exit the shell and.
Later, I open anotehr shell and the problem restart as well
The first time it say there is no module.
The second time it say it cannot import.
What would I do now?

To be honest I don't know how you can resolve that one. I installed gnochm on CentOS 4.2 using dags repo and everything just worked.
