rpm problem


When I run rpm in my RH system , it pop the below messages , it seems the rpm package have problem , but now I can't reinstall it back as when I run "rpm -ivh rpm-packagename" , it also pop the below , can advise how can I fix it ? thx.

#rpm
rpm: error while loading shared libraries: libbeecrypt.so.6: cannot open shared
object file: Input/output error

you probably have corrupted your rpm.
you would want to install libbeecrypt, through source and then try the rpm command.

As a temporary workaround you could use the rpm archive, provided you "-i --justdb" when problems are fixed to sync the database. The idea is to do something like "cd /; rpm2cpio /path/to/libbeecrypt.rpm|cpio -idv && ldconfig".
