rpm: package is / is not installed ???

# rpm -qil bluefish-1.0-1.fc3.i386
package bluefish-1.0-1.fc3.i386 is not installed
# rpm -ivh bluefish-1.0-1.fc3.i386.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
package bluefish-1.0-1 is already installed
# rpm -e bluefish-1.0-1.fc3.i386
error: package bluefish-1.0-1.fc3.i386 is not installed

believe me when I say: bluefish IS installed
it was installed yesterday without errors
Ive installed and successfully removed other progs at the same time
Ive also restarted but bluefish seems to be somehow fooling my headers

any ideas?

Just use the name of the package e.g.
#rpm -e bluefish
You can find out if a package is installed by doing,
$rpm -qa | grep -i packagename (e.g. bluefish)
