rox-filer

Alright, so I am running fluxbox on a slackware 10.2 with rox-filer and one day I toggled an option that made it unusable, so I just removed the package and re-installed it. Now I am faced with a different problem:
The file names are readble, however the menus, right clicking etc. all have the characters replaced with a box containing 4 characters in a 2x2 fashion..

If anyone could either tell me what this means (so I have somewhere to start looking) or how to fix it I would be most grateful.

Not sure what that means but the ROX config is stored in ~/.config so remove (or rename) the rox directory from in there to start fresh again
