Routers and P2P software

Hi !

So far I have a broadband modem with my desktop connected on it through an ethernet connexion, and everything works fine, including P2P software.

However, I want to add a router to my connexion, since I want to allow my laptop to use my connexion through a wi-fi access.

I'm confident the connexion will work fine as always.
But what of P2P software ?

P2P software uses maaaany simultaneous connexions, like aMule for instance, do you know if hundreds of simultaneous connexions will go through a router fine ? I'm not sure of that ^^

I use a router with three PCs connected to it my home. Two Linux, one WinXP. The WinXP machine successfully uses Limewire and Kazaa through the router. The Linux machines successfully use Limewire and GTK-Gnutella throught the router.

That's reassuring, thanks ^_^
