Round Aplication Dock?

I recall a long time ago (year or two), a friend of mine had some sort of circular docking application on his desktop. It sat in the corner, you could see a little more than one quadrant of the circle. When he moved his mouse over to the dock, it would start rotating depending on which end of the circle he moved over so he could find his app.

Thinking back, it was a rather inefficient dock, but it was really, really neat. I haven't had any luck finding this dock, or a dock like it. Anyone ever heard of/seen/used something like this before?

I don't know about a circular dock, but there's this: kooldock http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show...33a98a0bf91d1b and this: kxdocker http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=10958

Thanks for the suggestions. I really like the OS X style docks.
