I'm fairly new to Ubuntu and I'm none too familiar with reporting errors, but If the above information has anything to do with my problem, then it may prove helpful--I myself can't make head or tail of it. I've had Rosetta Stone for a long time, and I've attempted to install it on Ubuntu several times. I have a fully updated version of WINE, and my computer could handle Rosetta Stone when I had windows, so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be able to handle it now.

Anyways, to the specifics; the problem occurs when I'm trying to install Rosetta Stone on WINE. the "InstallAnywhere" window comes up along with a loading bar. When the loading bar reaches 6%, I hear the disk stop spinning, and the installation ceases with the message "Please select another location to extract the installer to." I'm supposing this problem is fairly unique, since I've scoured Google for possible solutions, and have found nothing quite like it.

Also, in my earlier attempts at installation today, the bar reached 100% and the installer closed. Nothing was installed, and no error message popped up. It just closed. The errors above say a lot about "uncorrectable error"s. I sure as hell hope they aren't related to my problem, but if they're not, please tell me how I can find the real problem.
Thanks in advance.
