Howdy, I'm trying to convert .rmj files which I have to .mp3 files so I can use them with programs such as xmms etc. Is there a converter for linux? I did a look around but I wasn't having much luck.
By .rmj I take it you mean .rm Actually, I find .ram and .rm are annoyingly hard to convert. When I had a .ram I looked forever and all I ever found was devices to convert to .rm or .ram. TI think it would be even harder for linux, sry.
Converting .rm to .mp3 is easy enough.
Have a look around for rmxmms so xmms can play real media, you will need real player 8 from real.com then when xmms can play rm files simply get the out_lame plugin and away you go.
Anything outputted by xmms is an mp3. Then when finished just change back the output plugin of xmms.
