Question Ripping copy protected CD's

I'm running Suse 9.1 and i was wondering if there is any software for it that can rip copy protected CDs, Kaudio creator freezes, so does grip. Is there anything else I should try?

ps. I've searched on here and most of the threads seem to have something about some American law in them, so I guess this will have to be answered by non-US residents (I hope it isnt illegal to ask/answer this question in UK too)

Disabling some of the error correction options in grip/cdparanoia usually helps. Also, if the CD plays correctly in XMMS you can use the disk writer output plugin.
