Ripping a different DVD language?
 

Im using MEncoder to copy one of my DVDs to my HD, but the DVD has Japanese voices as the default language (since its anime). It has English sound options, but when I use MEncoder on the DVD, its the Japanese sound thats used, not the English sound. Is it possible to specify which audio stream MEncoder rips?

PS: I have RTFM :D.

Here in Europe MEncoder always goes French on me (as default language that is :))

add the '-alang en' option, or if it doesn't work try '-aid 128' and try increasing the number to get different audio tracks.

Let me know if this works out for North American dvd's as well
