right permissions for mplayer


hi everyone. i've got the following (more or less only annoying) error message from mplayer:
...
Linux RTC init error in ioctl (rtc_pie_on): Permission denied
Using usleep() timing
...

what can i do about it? any idea, what for i have to set the permission that is needed for the ioctl?
