Rhythmbox music library and other Gnoppix issues

I'm running Gnoppix quite often these days but its a bit annoying reloading all my music into the music library whenever I boot it up.
Where is the library located? I can then copy it to someplace online or a hd.

Is it possible to copy all modifications / settings made and load those up? That way I wouldn't need to set things like my proxy in firefox either...

The most annoying thing about Gnoppix is that it sets my refresh rate at 60Hz when 85 is possible at 1024. Anyway to change this?

Thanks, All

Most settings are stored in dot files in your home directory. I don't use live CDs very often so there might be a better way but something you could try is picking up a cheap USB stick, like 512MB or whatever you think you could get away with as a home dir. Then when you boot Gnoppix, mount the /home/<user> to the USB stick and then any settings you save will be put there. Next time you boot it, remount and same as before, settings will take and it'll be like Christmas all over again :)

Argh I should have remembered that. Sorry, have been away from Linux for too long and getting way to0 intimate with Winblows again. If only I could get my FC install recovered...

Thanx anyways
