RHEL5 top panel deleted accidentally
 
Hello my friends
I am using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
I have deleted the top panel accidentally
is there a way to restore it?

Click on another panel and click add panel.
Then add things to that panel, like gnome menu bar, notification area, network monitor.
Move the new panel to the top.

You can back up your gnome settings by backing up all gnome related . files in your home directory.
.gconf .gconfd .gnome .gnome2 .gnome2_private .gnome_private

To restore them, put them back in home then run
/etc/init.d/gdm restart
