Angry RH9 very slow , any solutions??

Hi,
I just installed RH9 with lots of enthu, but to my disappointment, its too slow that you don't feel like working. Is there any way we can make it fast? I would like to use this extensively to connect to office and work with complex s/ws like modelsim. so speed is must.
