I have RH9 installed on a machine here at work and I wanted to setup a DNS server on it so I can connect to the DNS server via PHP for ultrafast local DNS lookups and save bandwidth across the internet connection. (Long Story).
How do I get a DNS server up and running? I went into gui mode and found "Domain Name Service" option (Using KDE) but the help wasn't too helpful in explaining that this was a DNS server and here is how you sync your DNS records to the wrold...ETC!
So if anyone wants to hit me with a quick readers digest version of how to setup the dns server, please help!!
