rfcomm connect

Hi I got the stage where I configured the rfcomm and set most of the variables, like connect yes and change address to my phone bluetooth address. now I need to do a rfcomm connect 0, when I type this it gives me a message saying unable to get this command or device. Now that everything is already configured I need to connect could someone please tell me how and what exactly to type to get this working.

Are you also specifying the mac address and channel number? i.e.
Code:
rfcomm connect 0 <mac address here> <channel number here>
