Hey all,

I was looking into the possibility of setting up Postfix do to reverse lookup on incoming messages to try and help prevent some of the SPAM that's been coming in lately. Recognizing that there are inherent issues with using this, it's still something I'd like to try to see if it helps. However, I'm not having much luck finding any documentation on getting it set up. Is this something that Postfix has support built in for? If not, what are some other means of implementing this? This is running on a Fedora Core 1 system.

I don't use postfix, but I know that Exim does this by default. Have a look in your postfix.conf file and see if there is a commented entry along the lines of 'verify sender hostname' or somesuch.
