restore or reinstall the start-menu?!?

ok, this is really weird. don't ask me how i did it. i added the mplayer to the video-directory in the start-menu, saved it and ....bam!!....the whole startmenu was gone. the only thing remaining is the multimedia->video->mplayer entry.

is there a way to reinstall or restore the original menu?
cause i really don't know all the filenames for all the progs in the menu and i dont wanna spend my days and nights looking for the executables.

please help, guys

Haha. that's the funniest one I've read today. Paranormal!

No seriously, I would Install the whole thing again. What distro are you using by the way?

I quess you *could* try to find and copy-paste the start menu config file from another computer if you have one.
