Resolution

i cant change my screen resolution more than 1024x768 in ubuntu edgy.
i cant find any control panel to change ma monitor resolution......
what to do ....
i have the latest nvidia drivers installed....
on windows i have a resolution of 1280x1024
any software to install....??
and how to open gnome control panel in ubuntu
or an ubuntu control panel....!!!!

try the command

xorgcfg

Just walk through it step by step. Or edit the xorg.conf file
