Resizing Images in the GIMP

Not a major problem, but just a bit of a niggle. Is there a way of drag- resizing images in GIMP instead of specifying the pixel values? I'm just trying to resize a few photos for a web site. If not, are there any other programs that have this feature? It's jsut I'm not really familiar pixel sizes, so I would much prefer just to drag a photo down to the size I want it.

Thanks

the newer releases of the gimp have that, when you scale the image it will give you black corner boxes that you can grab, and adjust with.
