Question Resize LVM VG

Hello
I have two volume groups on my HDD: vg_root and vg_apps. So, I need to reduce size of vg_apps and give more free space to vg_root. Is any way to do it?

If you have enough space you can:
  1. Add temporary PV(s) to each VG with enough space to accommodate the existing LV(s).
  2. Move the LV(s) within the VGs to the new PVs. This leaves the original PVs unused.
  3. Remove the original PVs from the VGs.
  4. Adjust the original PVs' partitions as required.
  5. Add the adjusted/new partitions as PVs to the VGs.
  6. Migrate the LVs from the temporary PVs to the new ones.
  7. Remove the temporary PVs from the VGs.
